I thought I'd post this...

It's from Suzanne... and check out her pictures... Hi Ya'll. Never wus good at english! But really I do know how to spell! Wow, how time has passed. I have seen alot of our class in the years, as I live in Lethbridge. I have gone to college for 5 years, and now am a house-hold engineer. Remember girls, in Bio class? I said I would be the last to get married, and I was! I have done alot of different things along the way. I used to shoot weddings and families/kids- that is with my camera. And now do it just for fun and occasionally get talked into a photo shoot! WE farm in Medicine Hat with my Dad, and brother Scott. In addition, my husband is a part owner in a roofing co. for 20yrs. So we are very busy. We love to ski most weekends and spend alot of our time with my family at Castle Mountain AKA West Castle. Other than that busy with our 2 kids and other life events. It's funny how we will either recognize eachother like it was yesterday, then there will be those that we will be saying, who the heck is that? Here's her Photobucket link suziqit I thought I'd repost a shot of Keith too. This is him at work. He works doing cool stuff... all day long.

What the heck does Keith do? I'd like to hear his story too.

He is the guy that makes the cool costumes for the TV show Stargate Atlantis. He has worked on a few big budget movies as well, Scooby Doo, Fantastic 4. He is also an actor.

He was a costumer. I would imagine. He won't be able to come because shooting schedules for TV production are going full tilt in the summer. That's when he is most busy.

I think he lives in the Vancouver area - is that right Dave? Hey should we add under "We'll be there" a "Hell no, we won't go" category?

Go for it Michelle, I'll be blunt.
Are there really some that feel that way? Gee, come on it's been 20 yrs. are there still grudges and sore feelings out there? I can't talk for all of us but my feeling is I thought we were all out for the same thing, to have a good time, catch up with everyone & see what we all have been doing, and enjoy seeing everyone. (this web page has been a great start and fun) Come on now, we all had our ups and downs back "THEN" But look this isn't High School any more take it for what it is. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to hurt anyones feelings or offend anyone, we all what to see everyone regardless. Right!?

So if someone is in that "Hell No" category do we also get the reason that they are there?
That would be interesting!

I will be the first to admit that I was an idiot (about many, many things) in High School. I think about certain situations and wish that I would have done (or said) things differently. I hope that those on the other end understand that I am sorry and that because of me they should not exclude themselves from this reunion.
But on the other hand why not face those who have offended you. You would be suprized how liberating that is.
Aaugh.. that sounds like I am lecturing you- not my intention....
just trying to point out that we all did/ do things to offend people without meaning to. So you only deprive yourself- 'cause they may not even be aware that they have offended you.

Are you a "the glass is almost full" or "the glass is almost empty" kind of person?

Take it for what it's worth.
Melissa

PS. I spent 12 years with most of you....even though we may not have been best friends I remember each one of you with fondness. I am very excited to see EVERYONE!!!

Okay I am getting in on the lecture too! If some of you are like me when all of a sudden my brain is thinking of my school days I can't help but remember some of the not so good stuff too. But c'mon, this was 12 years of my life that I spent five days a week from 9am to 3:30pm with all of you! Of course there were gonna be conflicts and situations. Each and everyone of us had our turn being on either end of this stuff. Sometime we "did" and sometimes we "received". This is what we all have in common.

I am reading this blog and remembering people I hadn't thought about in years. And this is my point...in 20 years we have all had a gizillion experiences that have made us grow in character. No one is the same.

And I, personally, think this blog was a genius idea. It gives us the opportunity to post our "remember when's" that we have that are silly and fun...and hopefully if some are being overcome with not so good memories, those memories will fade as they are reminded of the good times.

End of lecture. :)

Great Lecture. ...incidentally, the glass is never empty.

Lectures well said and taken... We were all a part of each others lives and helped shape who we have become today... It was very eloquently and beautifully said something like this at Kent's funeral by Dana: "There's a little Kent in me and a little Dana in Kent".

Dave, does Keith have an email to write to?

Patti, Dave & Mary- THANKS!!!
I wrote that and then the next day I was going to delete it- fearing that it just sounded like I was being an idiot, but then I read what you had to say and felt better. Thanks!
Love you all!
