Michelle and crew

I thought it was about time that I got brave and posted my own darn photos. A brief summary: after high school, I went to BYU. Loved it. Met and married Tom Dudley. Love him. We moved to Carson City, Nevada - and have lived here ever since. We have six (yes I said 6) great kids; Tommy-16, Hannah-14, Camilla-12, Abbey-9, Danny-7, & Jack-5. We really love it here. We spend most of our time running kids to their various activities and playing outdoors. Lake Tahoe is just 20 minutes away. I live a pretty regular life. After talking to all of you, I have been trying to come up with something spectacular. Jack says that my "work is the laundry." That is essentially true. I am also very good at driving around and 4th grade field trips. Now that the kids are in school, I have decided to take up a few new activities. I have been learning to ski this winter, but sadly, the kids have passed me up both in skill and courage! I have some really great golf clubs and need to practice to be worthy of them - maybe this Spring. Tom is a busy chiropractor and every once in a while I consider working for him - though I'm sure he would fire me. I am posting a photo of our family in New Brunswick - the Hopepwell Rocks. Fun trip - that was a few years ago. In 2005, I took Tommy and Hannah to Moscow. Very cool - mostly fun - no hot water. It was fun to talk to most of you. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. This blog has been great fun to read.

Heather & her honey!!

Heather asked me to post this for her...and I succeeded - even though I am a bit of an idiot.
Here we are in Domician Republic, we took this trip in Dec 2006 so its still very fresh in my memories. As for the pic, I truly dislike my pic being taken. Oh well I'll get over it. As you can see alot has changed in my appearance, but I'm the same happy go lucky inside. I can't believe that its been 20yrs since HighSchool, sometimes it feels like yesterday as I sit here rehashing old friends and memories. My husband and I have been happily married for 6yrs, almost 7 in June. I'm a step MONSTER to 3 children!!! Their ages are 18,17&12. Plus I'm a step GRANDMONSTER to a beautiful baby girl. As for having chidlet's I have 2 FURRY ones, much easier to raise. Talk to you soon.

Terri's Kids

Here is a pic. of my children having fun for the camera. The past 20 yrs. hum, where to start, my life has been a lovley adventure these past 10 yrs. At the 10 yr. I had an 8 moth old Bradlee and was preg. with twins, so I had my hands full. Sept. 24th "97" I was blessed with Identical twin boys (Robert) Kodi and (Tanner) Kori. I was then devorced with 3 babies in 98. I was happily blessed again to meet a wonderful man (whom I love and adore) Ryan MacDonnell (from Cardston) he was living in Arlington, Texas and I in Calgary. We were happily married in "99" in Grand Prarie, Texas (Arlington and G.P are between Dallas and Fort Worth Texas) . In Otober of "99" We had our Daughter McKenzie. (Yes, the tornato's that went through Fort Woth in 2000 past us by right next to where we were living.) With my husbands job at the time we have moved around a little. Wichita, K.S, Olthe, K.S and pressently here in Independence, M.O. we've been here 4 yrs and love the area. Yet we will be moving again soon. My Husband is now working for B.N.F.S. Railroad as a conductor in Sheridan, WY. As soon as our house sales here the children and I will join him. Myself I work for the Independence Shool Division, I work with a disable child as a Para, my job is very rewarding and the child I work with is beautiful, as are my own children. I have 5 Step children ranging in ages 15yrs-27yrs, a son and daughter in-law and 4 grandbabies, and love them all dearly. ( all live in Dallas area) Trips, In 2001 we went to Scotts Dale, Arizona for a work convention, in 2003 my husband and I got to spend Valintines (5 days) on Mauii. My Children Bradlee is 10yrs. Kodi & Kori 9yrs. and McKenzie is7yrs. We are a very active family, from the children playing all sports to couching all the sports and spending time together as a family. We are all looking forward to our move as it brings us closer to home and family. As for what I would change over the past 20 yrs/since "87"? First I would have kept the cat, Ranae you will understand that. No really, I wouldn't change a thing. I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I hadn't experienced all the things that life had and still has to offer me. The past twnty years have been challenging at times, but I am happy with who I am and who I've become and that's all that matters in the end, right! These past 8yrs. have been the best and just keep getting better and I have my husband (my best friend) to travel through all that life has for us and our family. I am looking forward to seeing all of you again. I have my photo's packed but will work on getting one of my husband and I here.

I thought I'd post this...

It's from Suzanne... and check out her pictures... Hi Ya'll. Never wus good at english! But really I do know how to spell! Wow, how time has passed. I have seen alot of our class in the years, as I live in Lethbridge. I have gone to college for 5 years, and now am a house-hold engineer. Remember girls, in Bio class? I said I would be the last to get married, and I was! I have done alot of different things along the way. I used to shoot weddings and families/kids- that is with my camera. And now do it just for fun and occasionally get talked into a photo shoot! WE farm in Medicine Hat with my Dad, and brother Scott. In addition, my husband is a part owner in a roofing co. for 20yrs. So we are very busy. We love to ski most weekends and spend alot of our time with my family at Castle Mountain AKA West Castle. Other than that busy with our 2 kids and other life events. It's funny how we will either recognize eachother like it was yesterday, then there will be those that we will be saying, who the heck is that? Here's her Photobucket link suziqit I thought I'd repost a shot of Keith too. This is him at work. He works doing cool stuff... all day long.

Three things...

1. FYI - there is still an outstanding reward for the license plate that was stolen from my locker in gr 12. No longer remember the amount of the reward, its negotiable. If anyone actually knows who stole it, come forward - I can arrange for you to be placed in a witness protection program if needs be. 2. Who is anonymous? Is that you Judy? Come clean and post your photo. 3. For those that would like it - at the dinner on Friday night - would you all rather have a cash bar or just wine with the meal? Let me know.

Patti's life

I should be able to sum up the last 20 years of my life quite quickly here. Let's see, graduated from high school. Attended the U of L and then the U of C, graduated with a B.Ed. in 1993, when a person couldn't get a teaching job to save their life. I moved to Regina, SK (what was I thinking?) and got married. Spent the next 8 years raising my ex-husbands kids and working part-time at various menial jobs (tuxedo store, catering company, answering service and WalMart) to supplement the family income. Moved back to Lethbridge in 1999 and divorced in 2001. Started working at Williams Moving and Storage in 2000, where I am still presently employed as the office manager.
This past Christmas I got engaged to be married to the nicest guy I have ever known and who happens to also work at Williams as a Class 1 driver/Van foreman/furniture mover. See photo above. We bought a house last fall and are having the best time ever planning and doing some renovations. I am attending LCC part time in the Business Program with hopes of moving on to bigger and better things (mostly bigger paycheque!). I have 2 cats, no kids, and Albert plans to get some sort of miniature dog this spring.
And that pretty much sums up main events in my life for the past 20 years. All the plans being made sound great and I look forward to this July's Magrath Days!

OK... This seems to be working really good

We have been talking reunion alot and... hey let's face it that's good and it'll be fun. But... I'm getting the distinct feeling that everyone wants to get to know everyone else a bit better. Melissa brought up a smokin' Idea. More pictures from everyone, don't be shy, put in pics of yourself now, even if you plan to drop 20 and get some work done before coming the reunion. We don't care we love you just the way you are. If you don't know how to post pics online... here's a short tutorial... go to www.photobucket.com follow the directions. Tell us more about yourself. things like... Marital status How many kids and ages What kind of work you have done. What you think about in that quiet time before you go to sleep at night Things that have affected you since high school. Accomplishments Cool trips you have taken If you could go back to 1987 and change anything what would it have been? Answer in either a new post or as a comment to this Dave

Sweet, sweet, picnic action...

The idea for a picnic including families has been tossed out there. I like the idea, I see it fitting in perfect on Saturday after the parade, we’ll all be in town, hungry and hopped up from riding around on a float. I say we eat at someone’s house, maybe invite a few people over who didn’t graduate like Rhonda, Jude and Karin and whoever else we pick up in the meantime. Kids can run amok in Magrath or at the picnic. Let’s roast an animal or at least animal parts and keep the fun rolling. In case you are wondering, the rationale behind the Friday reception is many of us have not seen each other in 20 years and we would like to get reacquainted in an environment where we are all on neutral territory and equal footing. It has also been put out there That spouses/dates are entirely optional. I would not even dream of inflicting this insider event on an outsider. There will be tons of inside jokes and “remember when…” stories flying around. If you weren’t there and didn’t know the people, it might be painful to attend. Let's not hurt the ones we love, or would like to love, in some cases. Also if you'd like to post a bunch of pictures for us to see check out www.photobucket.com For more shots of me/kids/life check out Dave's Photobucket or Dave's Myspace page D

Hatch Family

Here's a picture just for you Rich. Thanks to Dave for setting this up, I'm excited to hear from all of you. Curtis & I have 4 kids. Marissa is graduating this year. Colton is in grade 9, Dalton is grade 4, and Mercedes(Cedee) is in kindergarten. That's what I've been doing for 20 years, raising kids and a husband. Curtis owns his own construction business and with Alberta booming we are doing really well. Before you all start wondering if Curtis has cancer and going through chemo I'll tell you what's up. When we were building our last house his hair started to fall out in patches. He's now lost all his eyebrows and eyelashes. It's called Alopecia (sorry Tobi if that's spelled wrong.). His hair on his head is starting to grow back so we're hoping his eyelashes and eyebrows start to come back too. We're building another house now, so maybe not! I'm excited about the float. I thought we could do a "Best of the 80's" theme. Make a sweet 80's mix cd hooked up to speakers on the float. I think it's illegal to have water guns and balloons but we'll just hide them until the parade starts. Of course there will be loads of candy. If anyone has any ideas let me know! Sorry you won't make it Jason, thinking about you and hoping you come back to your family soon.

Reunion 2007

Here's what we have planned July 27 - Friday 12-4 Golf in Magrath (best ball teams of 4) 6-10 Dinner - Somewhere delicious - Video or Slideshow - Golf Awards 10-2 - Open invite to club/bar/house/hotel party or go home July 28 - Saturday (breakfast??) 9:30 Those who want to help with float 10:30 Meet at Maryse's to get on float 11:00 parade (lunch??) After the parade the formal Reunion 2007 is over. For any more events we have left it wide open. As Kent says "We are gonna do what we want." This is the first draft If anyone would like to throw out any ideas we are happy to entertain. It would be good to have someone in the area who knows the night life well. We'll need hookups for bars and stuff. I don't wait in lines, and a couple of non drinkers to drive would be great. We would like to find out how many will be coming from out of town and if they need a hotel for the weekend. Based on numbers we can approach a hotel and work out a package deal for rooms and stuff. Once numbers have been arrived at I think we will have a fairly good idea how much stuff will cost. Do we need/want T-shirts (well designed, cool ones you will wear more than once) Give us your input... Now dammit!!! D, M, T.

Greetings All

We have alot of ideas and they all sound good. There seems to be a conflict of which weekend for sure the celebrations fall on? I am planning on being up there a few days early, if there is any last minute help needed let me know, I'd love to help. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Dave and Michelle awesome idea to use e-mail and this web site. It would be nice to know where everyone is and what they have been doing for the past 10/20yrs. for some. Why not start here. Anyways it all sounds "Great." Just Terri
Seeing how we all graduated from high school, can we all please make a Zenith attempt to check our posts for spelling errors? Much appreciated.

Um OK...(corrected)

To whom it may concern and Tobi,
Please excuse Jason from his twenty year reunion (that may involve adult engaging conversation with people he dearly misses and the possibility of consuming a long overdue alcoholic beverage and possibly while playing golf followed by what appears to be an entertaining evening in my favorite metropolitan area in the Americas) as he is at war with the Taliban and will be until September(ish).
Please reference the following picture as proof of his status of nonavailability.

Sincerely,

Golf, anyone?

On another note, I think it would be fun to have a Best Ball Golf Tourney on Friday afternoon - July 27. Even if you're a sub-standard golfer - ie. me, we could pair you with someone who's actually good. Or we could just put all the lousy golfers together and lie about our scores - and let the real golfers have their game! Or you could ride in the golf cart, carrying a stiff drink and mock the other golfers - perhaps Dave would sign up for that position? If you're interested, email me. I'll get the tee-times set up, and we'll go from there. I'm thinking I need to know by April how many people are going. And when you email me - let me know your caliber of golf: Sub-standard - Moderate - Excellent. I dare you to say Excellent!

Hello Everyone! I am sure whatever we decide will be great. If we work together we'll have an awesome reunion. My house is always open for a get together. Just make sure that 10 -20 come help clean before we use it!!!!(JUst kidding) Let me know what I can help with. I will do what I can. I will be training for a triathalon, but I am sure I can fit some organizing in. No really just let me know. Angie
I hear from Michelle that Maryse has taken up charge for the float, - equipment, maybe local people can help decorate if needed. Also the jury is still out as far as the friday nite event details go... as master of the blog, Dave seems to likes to post his own wishes. :) no offence intended, I know your skin is thick enuf to handle the occasional defamation. Also Michelle checked with her mom at the town office and the date is the 27th & 28th. Apparently donations are being accepted for anything that can be assembled together to form a computer for Lisa. Last but not least, I would like people's reasons for non-attendence. That information should be available for public scrutiny. If I have to alter my holiday plans of spending a week in a bat-infested, filthy, prehistoric cabinesque shed on a swimmer's itch infested lake then I at least want to know why someone is not coming.

This is coming together pretty fast

Tobi has taken on the responsibility of producing the first event. This will be Friday night and it will be a catered event in a room somewhere maybe a hotel. she will post more info when she has it. She will also let us know what the cost would be. I was thinking 30-50 per person for dinner (I'd be happy with 50 if it included a bottle of wine) this would be a more formal event we could get dressed up and all get reacquainted. I was thinking this could be early evening to 10 maybe. Then I'd like to tune up an outing for some of the more adventurous maybe drinking/partying at a club or in a fun location. We could also open this up to just about anyone. We might need to come up with some kind of float. It'd be good to have all of us on it creating havoc. If any of you guys down there have companies slap your logo on it and use it to market yourself back home. I guess throwing candy is the norm. If we have any Dentists, bring toothbrushes/paste we'll chuck that out. Dennis can bring drug samples, I'll bring old DV tapes y'know... whatever... it'll be amusing. It'd also be cool if everyone posted a little bit about themselves on the site with a picture or 2. Thanks everyone D

Magrath locals...

still say the weekend of the 21st. Someone double confirm this. Michelle did, but let's make one more call... or 5... it's not like town hall is all that busy. I was thinking we would get some local "press" out about this. Just to reel in any people who we may not be in contact with. Hopefully, the "gossip," or as we in the media industry call it, "buzz" will reach a few more people. So as I see it here is the plan... Get about 15-20 people who will put their input in. (we are getting close to having 10) So far ideas have been -Golf -Catered dinner (99% sure that'll happen in Lethbridge) -Picnic -Riding the float in the parade -5/10k run -Night out at a club (Lethbridge) -Pretend we are 18 and get drunk up-town in the middle of the night. (probably not for everyone) Start booking stuff Get a per person/event price Post a schedule Then track down everyone else.

Michelle and I talked on the phone

...and we came to the conclusion technology would be the best way for us to plan the 1987 Grad reunion. We were not sure if anyone has made a move yet, so we are. Here's the basic idea... We need a list of everyone we want to invite. I'll make a list based on the yearbook, if you know where anyone is tell them about this and have them email me. The date's are going to be the weekend of July 27-28. If you want to post here use your Gmail account or create a blogger account or post using the comments. If you want to be added as a poster send me an email and I'll add you. If you think you are too cool or too much of a loser to come to the reunion, stop being an ass, and get over yourself. I want to see everyone.
Here's a photo of me in case you forgot what I look like...
