Love Reading Everyone's Posts.

I just love to read everyone's posts. It is nice to catch up on what everyone is doing. It has been too long. I think that whatever we do this summer will be fun, even if its just hanging out. Its amazing how life changes, and yet stays the same in ways. I have a best friend who tells me how lucky we are to have had so many in our class, and enjoyed each others company. She has no one to relate to in her 9 person class. We were all just lucky! We have grown up and changed and can see what is important. Well enough for know. Love you all. Angie

Where has the time gone?

Hello everyone, Wow! What a great blog. This is a neat idea. It has been so fun to read all these posts and view all the great photos. What handsome families everyone has. This is a great way to catch up. I am looking forward to seeing everyone this summer and can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to come! I used to think that people celebrating 20 year reunions were really OLD! Clearly I have been mistaken. It looks like life since graduation has been an adventure for us all. Everyone sounds happy and for that I am grateful. Especially Mark and Teresa! I became a registered nurse and now teach nursing students. I love my job and work with great, supportive people. I too am married to my best friend (Rod), who is just a great guy and our four kids are lucky to have him as their dad. Yes, four! Yikes, who would have thought! We had three of the cutest little boys, Brett (9) Eric (8) and Scott(5) and when Scott was 4 decided we were lucky to have three healthy kids, and that we were done, purged all the baby stuff and had a family photo taken... Then we were surprised one month later to find I was expecting again! An even bigger surprise when this little one was born a girl...Olivia is 8 months old today. So our lives are busy running to and from school, hockey, music etc all while trying to relax and take a few holidays. It really has been nice to read all these posts and find out where everyone is and what you are all up to. I am looking forward to the reunion and hope to have a chance to visit with everyone. I would love to meet spouses and children too, so hopefuly some

Don wanted me to post this

Well, Michelle has bugged me long enough to submit something to the blog. I have been reading daily and it's a lot of fun to see what everyone has been doing for the last 20 years. Wow, that seems like a long time but it sure flew by. I am married to my best friend, Kari. We will have been married 15 years this year. We have 6 children, the oldest is 12 and the youngest was born in Nov 2006. We haven't had a complete family portrait since Sadie was born so I am sending 2 pictures. We live on 6 acres outside Portland, Oregon. We love it. We do a little farming and alot of renovation on our 30 year old house. I am a dentist and I am now in a group practice with 2 other Docs. We focus a lot on sedation dentistry so I get to see patients that really hate going to the dentist. I enjoy it though and has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career. We keep busy with family, job, church, and home. Nothing too exciting. We are excited to see everyone this summer. It will definitely be one of the highlights. Thanks for Michelle and Dave for setting this up and see you this summer. Don

You all look GREAT!!!

Hello "Class of 87"!!! I can't believe it's been 20 years. You all look so good. Well if you can't figure out who I am...it's Drianne. I'm a stay at home mom and we farm for a living. I can't wait to see you all in July(hopefully I can be there). I think this is a great way for all of us to keep in contact even after the reunion. For all of you that haven't put in a post...Get your butts goin!!! 20 years already?

I guess it's my turn to condense 20 years into a couple of paragraphs. Thanks to Ralph Klein and his brilliant thinking I found myself out of work and looking for work in the US. That was 12 years ago! Where does the time go? Thanks to Mary for getting me a job interview and Melissa and Rob for letting me crash at their place and taking me to the interview, I found a job in Salt Lake City. I was here for 3 years and planning to move back home when I met my husband Matt. We were married in 2000. I work from home as a Child Development Administrator. I oversee the development of Madeline (6), Mark (4) and Emily (1) our three kids. They keep us busy and entertained.
It's been great reading about everyone. Looking forward to July!
Cathy

Teresa Said

To recap 20 years of what will read like pretty generic stuff without boring the sh*t out of you all - not likely (just typing that sentence made me weary).
Right now...
I live in Drumheller with my beautiful, blue eyed, blonde, 4 year old daughter Beth. Work at a good job with nice coworkers, even if my boss is horrifyingly dull. You all know my other half, Mark, and he has told you of the most handsome, two year old boy ever, Tyson. Here's our picture:
Glad to see everyone is getting connected with this site and look forward to seeing all of you.

20 years...can this be right?

Hey everyone! Looking at all the pictures and stuff it seems like just yesterday. But still I'm glad I'm 37 and not 17 anymore. Come on. Let's be honest. It really sucked to be in High School, didn't it? :) Anyway, here I am living in Coaldale with my family and I love it. I'm really looking forward to getting together with the rest of you losers out there and having some fun. Till then, take care! P.S. I know I look like a bit of an egghead here but my wife loves it so who cares, right?

Great Gobs of Green Gorrilla's, You Guys are Still Crazy

Ok...this was the first chance in weeks that I was able to access the site, and MAN has it grown! You are all crazy! I love it! I am really hoping to see some of you during the reunion...if the demands of my sisters (costume optional) wedding aren't too strenuous. By the way, the 'xmas treat' was a costume for the Jingle Bell Run 5K in Lethbridge in December...and we WON the costume competition -- of course! Catch ya later... Rusty (Shannon) Tannant

Holy Sh*t

The Pictures in Michelle's Photobucket are amazing. Thanks Rusty... BTW bringing off that Wham! look... yum. I have to say this... I had some very distinct memories come flooding back to me. I remember The shirt/sweater Melissa is wearing. I'm sure that's Danni Melissa is holding. I'm in the Picture with Jason wearing the sexy blue number. What's with the "Revenge will be mine" written over my picture. I probably deserved it. I forgot about my 10 year reunion picture. I still looked like a freakin cupcake. Lastly... Mary is achingly beautiful in those couple of shots with the short hair. That is amazing. Thank you Just in case you missed it

Wow twenty years!! This will be short and sweet, worked for the town of Magrath for about three years after graduating, had enough of that . It wasn't the same as back in High school, with Mark,Dave,Rich,Michelle. Went to work for Century Vallen were I've been for 17yrs .Throughout the last twenty I've raced Stock cars, raced Dirt bike, four wheel drives, anything that runs on gas. Thats why it took me so long to post here, I couldn't find the spark plugs on my computer. Not married , no kids, that I know of. Can't wait to see everyone in July. Larry

I am putting up some pictures for everyone to see. These pictures of us were taken in Mexico in January 2007, where we went to the Mayan Riveria with friends. We did some zip lining, repelling and snorkeling in underwater caves. We had a blast! Next time we are thinking Costa Rica. I also have pictures of my two precious children, who seem to take up alot of my time with extra curricular activities. That's why we had a holiday in Mexico without them, sometimes I need a break from being them Mom. Trace and I have been together now for 17 years, 13 married. Everything is going pretty well, except for dealing with my mom in the hospital since October. I am now looking at having to put her in a home. It is the hardest thing I have to do in my life. I never thought this is something I would have to do, I always thought she just would die in her sleep one day. I guess life doesn't always work out like you hope. My dad died in January 2001, and we moved onto the farm in December 2001, to take care of my mom. It has been awesome to be this close to her. My kids have had the joy of both grandparents close. Trace's parents live only 5 mins away. I have been subbing at the school as a teacher's aide, I have worked full time in January and February. I am suppose to be done here at end of February, the aide I am working for should be back. It has been interesting working full time. Trying to keep up with the house, cooking, kids, and my mom has been a challenge. It should get better, hockey will be done at end of February, and that is one less thing to run too. My daughter Alexa is in Grade 3 this year, and Karsen is in grade 1. My kids stay busy, Alexa has piano, ballet and judo. Karsen has piano and hockey. Anyone who is a hockey mom knows how busy it can be. Trace helps out when he is home, and no working late hours. Don't know what else to tell you for now. Can't wait to see everyone in July. I think it should be fun. Everyone is welcome to my house at anytime. We have lots of room here on the farm, and lots of lawn to play on. See you all soon. Angie Kern Vayro Hey Angie... you pictures went missing... I had to fix your post. If you can, create a photobucket and i'll add it to the links dave

Check the Photobuckets

Patti posted a ton of photos on a Photobucket. I hope she does not mind but I went through and separated them and cleaned them up a tiny bit. I am reminded of a bunch of photos Tobi sent me. I'll have to go dig them up and post them. Dave
Rusty Tannant just sent me loads of photos. Check out my photobucket for a walk down memory lane and a picture of Jason as...Juliet??? There is a lovely one of Spiffy Dave that I may just have to insert here!

Hello All!

Hello everyone! I figured I had looked long enough at everyone's posts, and it was time to come forward! Especially since Mark and Scott both beat me! Anyway, it's been an interesting 20 years to say the least. I am Happily married now and have been for 6 years. My oldest, Alyssa is now 19, turning 20 in March. I have a 9 year old blond bombshell step daughter named Marlee, and last, but not least I have a 3 year old boy named Ashton. He is my angel! Never thought I would have another kid, but sure glad that I did! He keeps me young that's for sure! Anyway, as soon as my computer skills tune up a little I will post a few pics of the kids, and Hubby (Joe). I am working now for the Government of Alberta, in Children's Services. Right now I'm working at Sifton Family and Youth Services. It's a treatment facility for teens. But, for now, I will be on my way, and will try and get some pics up soon. Great to see the good response that you are getting Dave. I think it's going to be an Awesome weekend! Till then........Beers and Cheers!

This is Great

This is so cool, it sure is good to see what everybody has been up to lately. I would like to thank Michelle for tracking me down. I can't believe you guys are letting me be a part of this. Even though I did not graduate in Magrath that is where I grew up and that is the School I concider my home school.
After High School I went to SAIT and took Broadcast Electronics Engineering moved to Toronto to work at YTV in the engineering department and party my head off, then I meet the girl of my dreams and decided settled down and ask her to marry me before she realized what I was really like HAHA. We had our first child Andrew in 1992 Rhia (My lovely Bride) and I decided Toronto ws no place to raise a child so we moved back to God's country Sweet Home Alberta well it is sweet home for me Rhia is from the Philippians. I got a job as a Service Manager at a broadcast Sony dealer in Calgary. We had our second child Aaron in 1996 both my boys are my pride and joy. I am now working at Genesis Communication in sales.

Germaine?

You guys! I'm a dummy and I'm sorry. I had the restrictions set super tight for my page - some crap the US Army does to ensure its success in the war. Hmph. I may get into a little trouble for it, but I loosened them up so people should be able to get in there if they wanted. I know it’s not worth the post, but I get a real charge out of reading about you so in the odd case that you're curious; my page can be viewed at the following address: http://jasonwilde.spaces.live.com/ I've posted it a few times along this trace, but I'm real stoked to hear about you and your lives and I'm bummed about not seeing you (many of you won't recognize such intimations from the me you remember). That being said, I'm happy thinking about you being together for the most emphatic and unavoidable expression of aging of our lives thus far. I wish the best out of the reunion as much as I hope for contentment for us all until our next big get-together. Sincerely, phil. P.S. How did we contact Colin? I'd love to hear his story!

Hoys at a wedding

I'm posting this for Melissa

This is great guys

Wow it's great to see & hear how everyone is doing after 20 yrs, I still can't believe it's been that long. I'll start by thanking Dave & saying sorry to Tobi. Thanks Dave, for coaching me through this blog thing. Sorry Tobi, for.... well my spelling is comparable to my computer skills. A breif & boring history. I went to work for an insulation company right out of high school. Started Martec Insulations in 96. It has become an incredibly time consuming non profit organization, ( wasn't intended for that purpose, just worked out that way.) What have I accomplished in the last 20yrs? Not much, I have team of the year awards 2002, & 2005 for the Southern Alberta Walleye Trail. It's pretty sad when your proud of your competitive fishing skills, hehe. I have one child, Tyson Holzwarth was born sept 29th 2004 Since that day everything else in life seems trivial at best. He is incredible, blond hair, blue eyes, & so cute, but other than that he looks just like me. I finally got married at 36 years old, & was going through a divorce before I turned 37, duh! Now I am seeing someone so amazing she makes me wonder what the hell I was doing with the first 36 years of my life. I won't mention her name because it's on the list to the right, & I'm not sure she is ready to admit to dating me yet. Ha! (way to put her on the spot eh.) On another note, I have 24 paid green fees,& 12 carts for Magrath. ( don't ask it goes back to that non profit thing) I'll trade them for say.....supper & bar tab for my table. Once again. It's great to see, & hear from everyone again. Mark.

Great To See You

It is great to see you all (new and old pictures) and here about everything that everyone is doing. I figured that it was about time that I posted a picture too. As you can see I haven't changed a bit in the last 20 years!

Rusty (Shannon) Tannant

Just thought I'd post these pictures of Shannon -she is having a difficult time accessing the blog from her school computer. She said she is hoping the computer geeks at school will help her. I want to know the girl who boldy emails the photo of herself as a Christmas Treat!
