Don wanted me to post this

Well, Michelle has bugged me long enough to submit something to the blog. I have been reading daily and it's a lot of fun to see what everyone has been doing for the last 20 years. Wow, that seems like a long time but it sure flew by. I am married to my best friend, Kari. We will have been married 15 years this year. We have 6 children, the oldest is 12 and the youngest was born in Nov 2006. We haven't had a complete family portrait since Sadie was born so I am sending 2 pictures. We live on 6 acres outside Portland, Oregon. We love it. We do a little farming and alot of renovation on our 30 year old house. I am a dentist and I am now in a group practice with 2 other Docs. We focus a lot on sedation dentistry so I get to see patients that really hate going to the dentist. I enjoy it though and has become one of the most rewarding parts of my career. We keep busy with family, job, church, and home. Nothing too exciting. We are excited to see everyone this summer. It will definitely be one of the highlights. Thanks for Michelle and Dave for setting this up and see you this summer. Don

Donald, that is so great! Congratulations to you and Kari on the new baby! What a beautiful family. How awesome that you have a place with land to enjoy. And I love the fact that you refer to Kari as your best friend! ... I was in Portland in September for a dental convention... You, Melissa, and I should all coordinate to go to some dental seminar at the same place/time... It will be great to see you, Kari and the rest of your family this summer! Take care!

Please tell me that your farm adjoins the pumpkin farm that "the little people" have. Great looking family. See you in July.

Don, My old neighbour!!! Good times tearing up the basement and making forts at your house, playing lots of marbles and playing on the TRS 80...I believe running man was our game, enjoying all this with a bottle of Pic-A-Pop. Do you remember making a still picture film with Michelle Baril as an arabian princess and that little plastic camel we had to make look like the real thing LOL!! Probably just an excuse to hang out with Michelle I'm sure, but hey it was a lot of laughs.

See you in July buddy, nice looking family! Hey I just bumped into your mom and dad this past week-end at church, I felt like I was 20 years younger..they still look the same to me. I felt like asking your dad if he still needed me to help move some sprinkler pipe...LOL!

I am glad I "bugged" you till you finally posted. What is a reunion blog page without you? I have fun memories of hanging out at your place. Eating my first pheasant. Ahab the Arab. Red carpet with fresh vacuum lines. Your mom always made the best food. I still call her every now and then when I want to know how to make something. It will be fun to see your family. It sounds like you may make it up to Magrath. I'm glad. And, of course, what a geat family you and Kari have,

Hi Don(ald),
Your family looks happy (and BIG)! Did you ever think you would have six kids. Wow! Anyone else have six kids besides you and Michelle? Good to hear from you, it has been a long time. I am looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.
